Person Fredmund Malik
Fredmund Malik has developed an all new thinking and management system for enabling organisations to transform themselves in order to master the complexity of the dynamic new challenges of the 21st century. His tools apply where conventional management stops. Malik was professor of General Management, Governance and Leadership at the University of St. Gallen (1974 – 2004), guest professor at the Vienna University of Business and Economics (1992 – 1998) and of two Chinese universities which established Malik Centers of cybernetic management.
Parallel to his scientific and academic functions he founded the Malik Institute which is a leading knowledge organization of cybernetic management systems. Malik is the author of more than ten bestsellers on complexity management and some 300 further publications. His classic Managing Performing Living was selected amongst the best 100 business books of all time. Peter F.
